  • Climbing The Pocket Live! The Original talking Vikings, Jags and Bucs

Climbing The Pocket goes LIVE! Recorded for Vlogmas, the network brings you another live show featuring Jayson, Yinka and Myles from the original crew to talk to your Minnesota Vikings. The Jaguars… The Vikings seem to come out very flat for another week at home or at U.S. Bank Stadium as Myles points out. Kirk Cousins play wasn’t great but wasn’t terrible, but he did come up with another game-winning drive even if it was to hand off to Dalvin Cook numerous times, and the Vikes came away with the W. The offense has been turnover prone and this cannot happen Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They need every advantage they can get. That may mean stellar play from Kirk Cousins to receivers like Adam Thielen and Justin Jefferson. Dalvin Cook looks to be in for a long day against the number one run defense in the league. The Vikings will need to adjust, like against the Chicago Bears to keep drives alive and scoring points. The Vikings defense will be against its biggest test of the season facing Tom Brady and his trio of receivers including Chris Godwin, Mike Evans, and Antonio Brown, along with Rob Gronkowski. The normal way to attack Tom Brady is via pressure early and often but can the Vikings defense generate that? They haven’t been able to do much this year without having to go to a bunch of blitz packages. Blitzing however against Tom Brady can be a mistake because he seen just about every one of them. Jeff Gladney and Cameron Dantzler have stepped up their play tremendously, and will have to continue for the Vikings to have a chance. Who do you see stepping up for the Vikings and being the key to the win? Thanks go out to everyone who joined the live show. We look forward to seeing even more of you join us tomorrow. • Vikings vs Jaguars: GMG Pregame Show - The Should

Vikings vs Jaguars… Good morning Horners! Good Morning Gjallarhon goes live for the first time with the pregame show. Your Minnesota Vikings will be hosting the Jacksonville Jaguars and hoping to get that when that’ll take them to an even .500 record. What do you make of this game? Can you trust this team? On paper, comparing the numbers as Drew does so well, this should be a substantial Vikings victory. However, that has us all apprehensive, does it you? The Vikings home record this season has not been good at all. The team has seemed to come out flat too many times instead of being motivated. The lack of fans has a lot to do with that, but this also comes down to coaches preparing the team not just with scheme and a game plan, but there mental attitude and preparedness. Dalvin Cook has been getting a heavy workload lately as we all know. Is this the game to give him arrest and let Alexander Mattison take over the duties? [We found out Saturday that Mattison had an emergency appendectomy and will not be playing. We hope he gets well soon.] or Mike Boone? With the Jaguars defense being so poorly rated, can Adam Thielen and Justin Jefferson had a big day from Kirk Cousins? This game looks ripe for the picking in both aspects of running and throwing the ball, but especially that passing game. The Vikings defense will have a tougher test however when they face James Robinson, the young running back that’s third in the league presently. Will the run defense hold. If it does, can Mike Glennon make them pay with shots to DJ Chark or Laiska Shenault? We will have to wait and see. So join us for first pregame show of the weekend, and then catch GMG In The Raw, the reaction show live 15 minutes after the game. #LetsGetLive Like, subscribe, and rate us on your favorite podcast aggregator. • Vikings Talk - GMG’s Debuts Two Old Bloggers

Good Morning Gjallarhorn debuts the Two Old Bloggers shows With hosts Dave Stefano [Luft Krigare] from GMG and Darren Campbell formally from Grant’s Tomb, Kick Ass Blog and Deep Thoughts by Darren Campbell. As Part of #Vlogmas2020, where the goal is to post a new video ‘show’ everyday of the month of December, the Climbing The Pocket Network’s production focus on your Minnesota Vikings. GMG’s 2OB will be doing the same bring you great coverage looking from a slightly different angle, even if that is from Yellowknife Canada. Darren posed a question, wondering if the Vikings were actually developing an offensive line that isn’t trash? Riley Reiff has played his best this season and is quite motivated after his pay cut, Brian O’Neill is solid, Garrett Bradbury seems to be improving somewhat, and rookie Ezra Cleveland was doing a good job prior to his injury. Dakota Dozier is the weakest link of what should be a decent line. Ezra has been limited in practice this week but looks to come back against the Jacksonville Jaguars and taking over the spot that Brett Jones has been holding down for him. Jones played better than Dozier, at least as indicated by grading, but do we see any changes there? You all know Mike Zimmer and the offense, and he’ll let Gary Kubiak make that decision. Darren also wanted to compare the 2015 draft class with 2020 draft class. 2015 is considered Rick Spielman’s best draft ever where he drafted five out of the top six players that are still in the league, and three of which have become stars and Eric Kendricks, the Danielle Hunter and of course Stefon Diggs. Trae Waynes was serviceable and a very good tackler, and even MyCole Pruitt still gets his catches every once in a while. So far with the 2020 class, Justin Jefferson looks like he’ll be a star and when you compare him to Stefon Diggs and even Randy Moss, that’s really saying something. Jeff Gladney at corner continues to develop, Ezra Cleveland from what we’ve seen looks like he can be the real deal, Cameron Dantzler has some skills and DJ Wonnum him might actually develop into a decent defensive end. There are five players there that could be cornerstones for the Vikings within the next few years, not to mention contributors like KJ Osborn and maybe Troy Dye. Do you think the 2020 draft by the Vikings will be as good or exceed that special one in 2015? Wilson took a quick look at the upcoming game against the Jaguars. Mike Glennon will be starting and it was pointed out we beat him the last time he played the Vikings. It will be interesting to see if their effective little running back James Robinson will give our run defense any fits. It is the Jaguars defense that has probably contributed most to their 1-10 record. The squad is very young and they have dealt with DB issues similar to the Vikings. The Vikings are favored, but does that leave you apprehensive? Thanks go out to everyone who joined the live show. We look forward to seeing even more of you join us tomorrow. They discuss your Minnesota Vikings in their style from Kirk Cousins to Teddy Bridgewater. Give the show a watch or listen. Yinka actually admits that Kirk is playing well but questions if it is sustainable like his new ability to scramble? Do you think it is? Jayson asked about the likelihood of the team making the playoffs. Will they? Justin Jefferson, Dalvin Cook and Irv Smith are fun to watch, but can the team beat the Saints, Packers, or Seahawks? Jordan brings up that the team has stunk this year at home [no fans maybe] but that 3 out of the 5 games are on the road. Does that help? JR breaks down how to attack the Buccaneers, but is that too early? Let’s beat the Jaguars first, right? The guys get into the Jags in depth talking Laviska Shenault, James Robinson, Mike Glennon, and Josh Allan giving the Vikings fits. Can the Vikings win? They should but we all know how that can go.
