Tomlinson & Peterson signed but what direction are the Vikes going? Darren and Dave will take a deep dive look into Dalvin Tomlinson and Patrick Peterson. How will they improve the team? The Tomlinson signing points to a not only a better against the run game defense, but a possible change in defensive scheme strategy. The team will stay in the 4-3 base, but this will effect the back end and how they go about coverage and some of the blitz packages. Will we see more linebacker blitzes from a renegotiated Anthony Bar and Eric Kendricks? How will the defensive backs change in their coverage? The signing of Patrick Peterson seems to be good. We finally have that veteran presence in the cornerbacks room. It is very much having the potential of how Terance Newman raised the play of Xavier Rhodes and the safeties. Will he be that key piece to improve the pass D? The guys are also wanting to look at the depth on the team, or lack there of. There are ares like safety, guard and defense end, but are there more?
